At Thursday’s closed-door sitting, Speaker Kola Oluwawole and 13 other lawmakers examined the proposal and passed it within an hour. Unai Emery Rejects Ozil Rift Reports.
Arsenal coach Unai Emery is adamant that reports claiming he Mesut Ozil do not get on are false and saluted the German's focus following international retirement.
Prior to the international break, stories began to circulate suggesting Ozil and his coach had fallen out after the midfielder was left out of the squad for Arsenal's 3-1 win over West Ham.
Ozil returned to Arsenal's starting XI in their next outing, a thrilling 3-2 triumph at Cardiff City, but reports about a supposed tense relationship were not put to bed.
So, at his news conference ahead of Saturday's trip to Newcastle United, Emery looked to end all the speculation, insisting his relationship with Ozil is fine.
"[We get on] very well," said the Spaniard.
"Here [at a media day] for me it isn't for speaking about what people are telling us. I have a very good relationship with Mesut and professionally I push him for improvements to give us the best in his qualities and performances.
"Also, I read this week in the newspapers in the match against Manchester City I say to the [groundsman]: 'don't put water on the pitch' – it's not true."
David Silva Expects Man City Exit in 2020.
Manchester City star David Silva expects to leave the Premier League champions at the end of his contract in 2020 and likes the idea of joining boyhood club Las Palmas.
Silva joined City from Valencia in 2010 and swiftly established himself as one of the Premier League's most consistent performers.
The 32-year-old has 345 City appearances to his name in all competitions and was an integral part of their three title wins since 2012, securing his place as a club legend.
But the playmaker, who turns 33 in January, thinks the end of his City career is in sight, and that might prove a boost to a club a little closer to Silva's home.
"For City, two more seasons - what's left on my contract," he told BBC Sport when asked how much longer he is likely to continue playing.
"After that, I don't know. It depends how I feel physically and mentally.
"I've always said that I'd like to play for Las Palmas - my local team. But we'll see how things go in two years and take it all from there."
Seiyefa’s Reign Over As Buhari Appoints Bichi Substantive DSS DG.
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Yusuf Magaji Bichi as new Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS). He replaces Mathew Seiyefa, who was appointed in acting capacity in August after then Acting President Yemi Osinbajo sacked Lawal Daura as DG of the agency. According to Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, the appointment takes effect from Friday September 14.
“The appointee is a core Secret Service operative,” Shehu said. “He attended Danbatta Secondary School, the Kano State College of Advanced Studies and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. “The new Director-General began his career in the security division of the Cabinet Office in Kano, from where he joined the defunct Nigerian Security Organization (NSO), the precursor of the present DSS."
Bichi, who also served as Director at State Service Academy, is married and with children.
Dozens of women in Adamawa State are currently being held by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen. The attackers have also overrun and burnt down Gon, Bolki and Nzomosu communities in the Numan Local Government Area of the state. Hon. Sodom Tayedi, the lawmaker representing Numan Constituency said that the marauding herdsmen were advancing towards other neighbouring communities.
She further explained that casualties could not be ascertained as locals scampered to safety in the bush. Tayedi lamented that the attackers were mobilizing from Abbare despite a large contingent of soldiers stationed there. Abbare is the birthplace of Tukur Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff. "There are soldiers in Abbare, yet these attackers will always mobilise from that Abbare,” she lamented.
“There is never a time they'll attack and I never called security agents as member representing the constituency. I just called the Brigade Commander again and he assured me that troops were on their way to the area.” She also noted that even if the soldiers get there, they may not be able to reach the affected villages due to heavy flooding.
Real Madrid's Salary Limit Lower than Barcelona's.
The salary limits stipulated by LaLiga Santander for each of the league's clubs have been released and it has been revealed that Barcelona can spend up to 632.97 million euros, while Real Madrid can spend up to 566.53m euros.
This isn't a concern for either club as they have more than enough room to cover their wage costs, but it is interesting that Los Blancos have a lower ceiling - by 66.5m euros - than their rivals.
One of the main reasons why Barcelona are allowed to spend more on wages has to do with the fact that they've presented greater income than Real Madrid.
The new deal with Nike and their shirt sponsorship agreements have brought in significant money, as have the sales of players like Paulinho, Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina, Aleix Vidal, Gerard Deulofeu and Andre Gomes.
Clubs are allowed to present income from transfers which equates to the average from the previous three years and, as such, Barcelona can also include the 222m euros they received from Neymar's exit in this equation, which ultimately leads to greater salary spending capacity.
Osun begins payment of salary arrears, pensions.
The Osun State Government has paid workers’ salaries, leave bonuses and pensions with the N16.6 billion Paris Club refund released to the state by the Federal Government.
The Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, who said this at a press conference in Osogbo on Thursday added that the state government added N3 billion generated from other sources to make it a total of N19.8 billion which was used to pay the August salaries, four months salary arrears, pensions and leave bonuses to the workers.
The commissioner said it was not the first time Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration would commit such a huge amount received from the Federal Government to salaries and pensions. Oyebamiji said, “The latest Paris Club refund released to the state by the Federal Government is N16.623,296,402.82 while Mr Governor has approved the disbursement of N19,801,328,271.22 to clear four months of salary arrears, pension arrears and leave bonus with adequate provision for full salaries.
Lukaku: Mourinho Does Not Fake Emotions.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku says boss Jose Mourinho is "real" and does not fake his emotions like other managers in the Premier League.
Mourinho demanded respect from the media after an angry news conference following a 3-0 defeat by Tottenham at Old Trafford last month.
But Lukaku says the Portuguese is a family man, makes the players laugh and fights for them, and deserves respect.
"People know a side from him which is he's a winner," said Lukaku.
"But what I like about him is he's not going to fake his emotions. When he's mad, you know he is mad. When he's happy, you see he is happy.
"I don't understand why people don't like the realness about him. When he's mad at me I know he is mad at me, and I try to do what he wants so he is happy again."
Pep: De Bruyne has €250m Release Clause.
Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is not for sale, and says the midfielder has a release clause of €250 million (£223/$292m).
De Bruyne was the star man as City smashed a string of records in romping to the Premier League title under the Catalan's leadership last term.
City are currently without the Belgium international due to a knee injury that is set to rule De Bruyne out of action until November.
And Guardiola intimated it could take a world-record fee to prise De Bruyne away from City, the 27-year-old having signed a six-year contract earlier this year.
"He's very good. He's a very dynamic player," Guardiola said in an interview with Universo Valdano.
"[Leeds United boss] Marcelo Bielsa told me he was his favourite player. He does everything.
"The other day, I met his parents and you often understand how the children are when you know the parents.
"He's an incredible boy. The clause is €250m. I'm sorry, he's not for sale."
APPRECIATE FATHERS.
You asked for N10,000 and your dad told you he will give you in the morning before he leaves for work. This was after he has thoroughly scrutinised what you needed the money for, all the questions he asked were already making you angry,
Throughout the night your dad couldn't sleep because he was thinking of how to give you his last N10,000,
When it was morning, he called you into his room and gave you N9,000 instead of N10,000, You were not happy and squeezed your face in discontent and reluctantly said thank you after complaining that it was not complete,
Your mum after seeing this will not say anything but will meet you in your room where your dad isn't and give you N2,000 from her own money and say "don't mind him, use this one to complete it".
You began to smile like fido dido, And you'll quickly run to Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp to write...
"I have the best mum in the world, i love my mum".
Now your dad had gone out with just 1,000 in his pocket with no fuel in his car, Because of you, he used public transport that day to work,
At work he worked over time, After closing late, everyone keeps saying "daddy is never always around except mum".
Your good dad will never allow you see how much he suffers for the family because he is a MAN.
Pls
Always try to appreciate your dad because you can never tell what he is going through for your sake, That he is not always around like your mum does not mean he does not care about you deeply.
Feel free to share as we appreciate all the Dad's in the house for their sacrifices

Buhari Will Lose Presidential Election – Report.
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the research unit of The Economist Magazine, has predicted that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the upcoming 2019 presidential election.
EIU stated this in its latest country forecast overview on Nigeria which was made public on Tuesday.
The EIU, which gave an array of reasons for its prediction, said even though it would be a close call, the opposition PDP would win the election.
It predicted slowdown in economic activities in Nigeria as politics takes centre stage.
The London-based magazine, which also anticipated a depreciation of the naira, said further in its assessment that Buhari was fast shedding support from within the APC with governors and lawmakers defecting to the opposition en masse.
“Intra-party politics would be chaotic ahead of the poll and we ultimately expect the incumbent to lose power.
“The 2019 elections will be a close contest between the ruling APC and the PDP. We expect the PDP presidential candidate to win, but for the next administration to flounder against the same problems as the incumbent one.
“The next government is likely to be led by the PDP, the main opposition, potentially in a coalition with smaller parties, but instability will remain an insoluble challenge.
“Internally, not all ambitious politicians from the APC who have defected will be rewarded with places in the next government; or if they are, it will mean that pre-existing grandees within the PDP will have been sidelined.
“Whoever ends up feeling cheated will eventually turn on the new administration, as is happening to the APC now. There is also a unifying PDP presidential candidate, with around 16 aspirants competing for the nomination.
“A weak APC before the election and a troubled government thereafter implies that Nigeria’s manifold security threats will continue to fester.
“Parliamentary rifts will remain the main problem, and this applies no matter who is in charge, given competing priorities between representatives from different regions and the absence of a common ideology within parties,” it said.

The 73rd UNGA will begin Sept. 18 at the UN Headquarters, New York, while the General Debate will hold from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1.
Onyeama, who disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja at a news conference on the 73rd UNGA, said Mr President would use the opportunity to assert Nigeria’s position on global issues.
“It is an opportunity for him to assert Nigeria’s position globally and to put forward our ideas and our vision going forward as a global community.
“The President will address the 73rd Session of the High-Level General Debate of the UN General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York on Sept. 25.

Onyeama said the 73rd UNGA will avail Nigeria and other member states of the UN the opportunity to engage, interface and share best practices toward reaching common understanding and consensus on key issues of global significance.
According to him, Mr President will hold bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary-General, some African and other world leaders, as well as few strategic partners during this period.
President George Weah Makes Surprise Return to International Football Against Nigeria.
Liberia president and former World Footballer of the Year George Weah made a surprise return to international competition in Monrovia on Tuesday, playing in a 2-1 loss to Nigeria a few weeks short of his 52nd birthday.
Liberia had arranged the friendly to retire the number 14 jersey made famous by Weah but fans were in for a shock when, 16 years after his last international appearance, the striker led the national team onto the pitch wearing it instead.
Media reports said Weah, who led the attack and showed glimpses of the class that made him a household name around the world, received a standing ovation from fans when he was substituted on 79 minutes.
Goals from Henry Onyekuru and Simeon Nwankwo helped Nigeria to a 2-0 lead before the hosts pulled one back through a Kpah Sherman penalty late in the game.
Weah enjoyed a career in Europe spanning nearly a decade and a half that saw him play for Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille in France, AC Milan in Italy and English sides Manchester City and Chelsea.
As well as being named the 1995 World Footballer of the Year, he also won the Ballon d'Or in the same year and remains the only African to win either award.
Weah's popularity from his playing career saw him secure a landslide run-off win last December in Liberia's presidential elections.

Gas Depot Explosion Kills at Least 18.
A gas depot exploded in central Nigeria, killing 18 people and leaving some burned beyond recognition, a witness said Monday.
More than 40 other people had burns after the blast in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa state, taxi driver Yakubu Charles told The Associated Press. He said he helped to evacuate victims after more than a dozen occupied vehicles were set on fire. Victims had to be taken to hospitals on motorbikes as no ambulances were available, he said.
Both the Nigeria Police Force and Federal Road Safety Corps confirmed the blast but declined to give a number of casualties.
Nigeria’s Senate president, Bukola Saraki, in a Twitter post called the explosion “horrific” and said he met with survivors. He offered prayers for families who lost relatives.
Many gas dealers operate mini-depots in Nigerian cities with no strong measures to regulate their activities, leading to frequent explosions. In January, 10 people died in a blast in Magodo in Lagos state.

Areola In Pole To be PSG's Number One Ahead of Buffon.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel revealed Alphonse Areola is in pole position to be the club's number one goalkeeper over Gianluigi Buffon.
Italian great Buffon left Serie A champions Juventus for PSG as a free agent at the end of the season and the 40-year-old started the first three matches of the Ligue 1 campaign.
Areola had previously revealed his determination to win the job amid new contract talks with the club and, according to Tuchel, appears to have an excellent chance to do just that.
"Yes I chose. The decision is not final but I told Alphonse that he was in my opinion in pole position to be number 1," Tuchel said.
"He comes from the academy. PSG is everything for him. And he absolutely wants to prove himself to PSG. This is a situation that must be respected and capitalised on. We must be proud to have players of this nature, we need this type of players who have the soul of PSG, who embody the club.
"We have a different situation with Gianluigi Buffon, a legend, an idol of Alphonse who is at his side. Both players have very strong personalities. We will have to fine-tune things. Gigi knows it, Alphonse knows it, if you get there, in this configuration, to be smart and generous with both, I'm sure we'll be rewarded. And I'm sure that Alphonse will not be good despite Gigi but thanks to Gigi."
Scaloni: Number 🔟 Jersey Waiting for Messi.
Argentina's caretaker manager Lionel Scaloni has stated that the number 10 jersey is reserved for Lionel Messi as Argentina hold on to hope that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will prolong his international career.
"There is only one answer for your question: every player who was in the World Cup kept his number, the ones who came here. In this time, the 10 shirt belongs to Messi and it will stay this way until he decides if he will continue with us or not. We aren't closed to that chance so I chose to keep this number for him. In the future we will see, but if you look at the players who played the World Cup you will see they kept their numbers, and we wait for the future to see what happens, but so far no one is using the 10 because it is exclusive for him and that is my decision. There is nothing else about this, " said Scaloni.
Barcelona superstar Messi was absent as Argentina outclassed Guatemala 3-0 in California on Friday.
Nasarawa: Buhari Speaks on Gas Explosion.
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the gas explosion that occurred in Nasarawa State.
Daily Post had reported that several persons were roasted beyond recognition and others injured in a gas explosion that occurred at the popular Natson gas station in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
Speaking on the incident, Nasarawa State Government confirmed two persons dead and 37 others injured in the gas explosion.
The Deputy Governor, Mr Silas Agara, who gave the figure during on-the-spot assessment visit to the scene of the incident, said that the government would take the necessary steps to unravel the cause of the accident.
Reacting, Buhari in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja commiserated with the victims of the explosion.
The statement read in part: “The president, who was briefed about the scale of destruction of life and property expressed grave concern over the high toll in the incident.
“He consoled the bereaved families and appealed to the state and federal authorities and well-meaning persons in the state to ensure that the best medical assistance was provided to the injured persons.
“He wished that this kind of tragedy never happened to any part of the country.”
APC Plotting my Assassination to Take Over Rivers: Wike.
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, of plotting to kill him so as to take over River State.
Meanwhile, the Presidency has denied Wike’s allegation, saying President Buhari does not engage in violent activities.
Wike, in an interview with Premium Times, said: “I have told my wife and children (of the plot). This is where we have found ourselves. This is a bloodthirsty government. Of course, they are humans. They asked why? I told them that if that is the role I have to play, it doesn’t matter. I see myself that I may not be alive. It is obvious. The government is determined, they have made up their mind, but we are ready to die. We must stand up for the truth.
“They have the instrument of coercion, they can send in the army to overrun a place. This is a government that doesn’t care, it is not a democratic government, it is a dictatorship in civilian uniform. I do know that I may not likely be alive. But should I be cowed when I know that my time will come when it will come? Look, my Attorney-General came to see me and I told him that he had to travel out for medical check-up. And he died, I never saw him again. Did you know he would die? Death will come when it will come.
We must face reality, and that’s the point we have reached in this country. Whether you are in your house, the government will come after you, whether you are in the kitchen, the government will come after you, whether you are in the office, the government will come after you.
“It is not a question of being scary, it is a question of being told the truth. This government is out to eliminate people who say no. And that is why I keep saying that the international community is not doing enough, by now they should have revoked the visa of some of the people who are opposed to democratic rule and rule of law in this country. This government is bent on eliminating key opposition leaders."
African Leaders Will Laugh at Nigeria When They Visit – Presidency.
The Presidency on Monday said that Nigeria will be made a laughing stock by leaders of the neighbouring countries if they should visit the country and discover that power supply was not sustainable.
The Presidency also explained that the interest to be paid for the loans from China was the cheapest in every part of the world and that the loans were for the provision of infrastructure.
Speaking in an interview with the African Independent Television, AIT, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Malam Garba Shehu noted that it was said that the country some years back spent $26 billion in power and yet there was darkness everywhere.
Justifying the borrowing from China by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Shehu said, “We are borrowing for long delayed infrastructure. This country needed to have resolved a number of infrastructural problems much earlier than now.
“Some of our neighbors will laugh at Nigeria when they come and they find that electricity is not sustainable for a long period of time. This is a country we voted $16 billion to supply electricity. That money disappeared into the tin air, no power, nothing to show.
“So if we are borrowing now, government is prudent in management of the fund and borrowing specifically to projects for which there will be results. Look at the Abuja Light Train now, the Africa’s fast modern city rail in the whole continent. We are now borrowing money to put more coaches because there is huge appetite now especially for people in the outer space wishing to shuttle between the city centre and those outlaying areas.
“Look at the thing we are doing with the rail in Lagos and Ibadan, the rail will be completed early in the new year and coaches have to be bought otherwise it will just be sitting there. We are running train between Warri and Ajaokuta, Kaduna and Abuja is running and every day the coaches available now are overstretched.”
Trump and Aides Caught on Tape Laughing About Niger Terrorist Ambush that Left Four U.S. Soldiers Dead.
President Trump drew laughs from some of his aides as he joked about what a “rough business” terrorism is while discussing an ambush in Niger that left four U.S. soldiers dead last year, according to a covert recording released Monday.
Trump made the comments during a closed-door meeting at the White House in the wake of the Oct. 4, 2017, attack on the U.S. Special Forces, who were advising local troops fighting Islamic extremists in the African nation.
Former White House communications aide Omarosa Manigault Newman secretly recorded the conversation and provided a tape of it to MSNBC on Monday afternoon.
The President can be heard on the tape telling his aides the U.S. and Nigerien troops “got attacked by 50 real fighters,” who he claimed were in Africa because the American military had chased them out of the Middle East.
“So it’s a rough business. I wouldn’t, I don’t think I’d want to be a terrorist right now,” Trump said, prompting guffaws from the staffers in the room. “It’s not a good life…The reason they’re there, is because we forced them out, and it’s not nearly as many, it’s not nearly as intense, but it’s pretty intense, you see that happening. So that’s that.”
In an interview with host Craig Melvin, Manigault Newman said Trump made the off-the-cuff comments during a communications team meeting attended by several people who she said didn’t have proper security clearances for such a conversation.
House Republicans Propose More Tax Cuts as Elections Near.
Federal individual income tax cuts approved in December on a temporary basis would become permanent under a package of bills unveiled on Monday by Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, although the outlook for passage was uncertain.
In an election-year effort designed to draw a sharp contrast between themselves and Democrats, House Republicans offered up three pieces of legislation.
The measures would make permanent the lower individual rates from December, eliminate the maximum age for some retirement account contributions and let new businesses write off more start-up costs.
President Donald Trump’s Republicans, who are seeking to fend off a Democratic challenge for control of Congress in the Nov. 6 elections, tout the tax cuts as helping boost the economy. Democrats have said they benefit mainly the wealthy and corporations.
“Regardless of the merits of the House GOP plan, we view it as a political move ahead of the midterm elections that has no chance of passing Congress in the short term,” the investment firm Keefe, Bruyette & Woods said in a Monday note to clients.
More than 30,000 Displaced in Syria's Idlib in Latest Offensive: U.N
More than 30,000 people have so far fled their homes in northwest Syria since Syrian government and allied forces resumed air and ground bombardments there last week, the U.N. agency coordinating relief efforts said on Monday.
The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said an all-out military assault on the last major stronghold of active opposition to President Bashar al-Assad could set 800,000 people to flight. The OCHA chief, Mark Lowcock, warned that this risked provoking the worst humanitarian catastrophe of the 21st Century.
Russian and Syrian warplanes resumed their bombing campaign last week and the presidents of Turkey, Iran and Russia on Friday failed to agree on a ceasefire that would forestall the offensive.
OCHA spokesman David Swanson told Reuters that as of Sunday, 30,542 people had been displaced from northwest Syria, moving to different areas across Idlib.
About 2.9 million people live in the opposition-held area, which comprises most of Idlib province and adjacent small parts of Latakia, Hama and Aleppo provinces. Around half of them are already displaced from other parts of Syria.
New Details Announced for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's Royal Tour of Australia, New Zealand.
New details of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's two-week royal tour were revealed Monday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will tour Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga from Oct. 16-31 on behalf of Queen Elizabeth and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Kensington Palace said.
The couple's stops in Sydney, Melbourne and Fraser Island, as well as Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand, will make up the bulk of their itinerary.
Prince Harry, 33, was recently named the Commonwealth Youth Ambassador by the queen. The couple is expected to spend a considerable time appealing to issues important to young people, who represent one-third of the population of the 53 Commonwealth member nations.
Trump's Approval Rating Is Poor Despite Glowing Views on The Economy.
Voters love the economy, but it has failed to translate into higher approval for President Donald Trump, according to one new poll. The disconnect is perhaps the biggest challenge facing Republicans as they battle to keep control of Congress in November.
Seventy percent of voters describe the U.S. economy as "excellent" or "good" in a new Quinnipiac University poll, matching the survey's all-time high. But the strong outlook on the economy has not lifted Trump. Only 38 percent of voters approve of the job he is doing, versus 54 percent who disapprove, according to the survey.
The reading could spell bad news for the GOP, which has primarily touted the strength of the economy as it tries to defend a House majority in this year's midterms. Voters appear convinced that the economy is strong, but a majority of voters either do not associate it with Trump, the Republican Party's leading figure, or disapprove of the president for other reasons.
A separate CNN/SSRS poll released Monday found a poor approval rating for Trump despite good feedback for how he handles the economy, specifically. Only 36 percent of Americans approve of the job the president is doing, down from 42 percent in August. It comes despite 49 percent of respondents saying they approve of how he is handling the economy, which remained steady in July, August and September.

Bigg Boss 12: Sofia Hayat Hurls Abuse at Salman; Says the Show Should be Banned.
Just a few days after Salman made an official announcement of Bigg Boss 12, former contestant Sofia Hayat said that the show should be banned.
Sofia, who was a part of Bigg Boss 7, made some hard-hitting comments on the show, accusing it of promoting violence and encouraging people to disrespect women.
Below is what Sofia has to say about the show just a few days before the start of Bigg Boss 12:
"Bigg Boss should be banned. There are men disrespecting women, there is a trend to shout at people and put people down. Trolling is encouraged by Bigg Boss as they do it themselves, humiliating people is what the show is about. Bigg Boss promotes all of these to its younger viewers. Young minds saturate things they watch and what they watch becomes a part of their programming as young children, then as adults. We are shaped by what we see and hear. Our body cells imprint images and sounds into the water that makes up 70% of our bodies. Imagine the impact this show has on you! Bigg Boss makes men disrespect women, it makes people fight for entertainment and all for what? Bigg Boss should be boycotted. Why are people watching the show? They edit a lot of things, and they allow people to take drugs in the house and children are watching this thinking this is how people behave. They are not real circumstances. Although on my part I was always real, a lot of my things were edited out, so you did not see what really happened. Salman Khan needs to have some responsibility, which he does not. It is all entertainment for him, and if you flutter your eyelids at him and bow down to him, you might get a film or shoot with him. The show is about who throws the best insults, who licks Salman's a** a lot and who the best liar is."
Germany Migrants: Protesters March Over Young Man's Death in Köthen.
Far-right and opposition anti-fascist crowds have taken part in protests in Köthen in eastern Germany, where a German man earlier died following an alleged fight with Afghan men. Police were deployed to help prevent violent clashes and the city's mayor had advised residents to stay at home.
The 22-year-old fight victim was said to have died of a heart problem not directly linked to his head injuries sustained in the incident. Two Afghan suspects have been arrested.
Prosecutors said that a post-mortem examination suggested the victim, who reportedly intervened in an argument involving three Afghan men and a pregnant woman, did not die directly as result of the injuries he suffered when he fell and hit his head during the fight. On Sunday, a crowd marched through the city and lit candles as a tribute the victim.
9/11 Attack: New York City Subway StationReopens After 17 Years.
A New York City subway station has reopened for the first time since it was destroyed 17 years ago in the 11 September 2001 terrorist attack. Cortlandt Street on the 1 line was buried under debris when the two World Trade Center towers collapsed after hijackers crashed planes into them.
On Saturday, people were welcomed into the newly renamed WTC Cortlandt station as the first train rolled in at midday. Nearly 3,000 people died and thousands more were injured in the 2001 attack.
The new fully accessible station, which cost $181.8 million (£140.7 million) according to the New York Times, required an entirely new ceiling to be built and 365 metres (1,200 ft) of the track to be replaced.
It now boasts state-of-the-art technology, like a new air ventilation system to keep the platform cool, and fewer columns to help with passenger flow.
Deadly Stadium Stampede at Madagascar 🆚 Senegal Match.
At least one person has been killed and nearly 40 injured in a stampede at a Madagascar football stadium. The incident occurred just before the start of Madagascar's match against Senegal in the qualifying round of the Africa Cup of Nations, local media said.
Thousands of spectators were still trying to get into the stadium through the only entrance. Two of those hurt are in a critical condition in the capital, Antananarivo.
Many people had been queuing up since the early hours of the morning for a 14:30 (12:30 GMT) kick-off at the Stade Municipal de Mahamasina. Stampedes at stadiums in Africa occur on a regular basis, often due to poor crowd control in over-crowded stadiums.

Death Toll in JapanEarthquake Rises to 37.
The death toll in the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that struck Japan on Thursday has risen to 39, the country's Fire and Disaster Management Agency said. Two people remain missing, and at least 641 people were injured. Evacuation centres are still holding 2,544 people. The quake is the latest in a string of natural disasters that have hit Japan recently, including deadly floods, typhoons, earthquakes, landslides and heatwaves..
Lasting almost a minute, powerful tremors jolted people from their beds early Thursday, collapsing roads and causing landslides that buried homes and other buildings. Thursday's earthquake comes as much of Japan is still dealing with the effects of Typhoon Jebi, the strongest such storm to hit the Japanese mainland in 25 years.
Before it made landfall, the storm had sustained winds of 140 kilometres per hour (87 mph) and gusts of 165 kilometres per hour (102 mph), the equivalent of a Category 1 Atlantic hurricane.
Australian Police Find 'up to' 5⃣ Bodies in a House in Bedford.
Up to five bodies have been found in a house in suburb of Perth, according to police in Western Australia. The dead include women and children. Assistant commissioner Paul Steele said the incident was "tragic" but that there were no ongoing safety concerns. He said officers made the discovery on Coode Street in Bedford after a man attended a regional police station.
The man, who is in his 20s, is in custody. It is not yet known if the victims were related. Forensic teams were on the scene and investigators were trying to piece together a timeline of events.
In July, a 19-year-old man was charged with the murders of two children and their mother in another Perth suburb, Ellenbrook. Two month before that, seven people were found dead at a rural property in a town of Osmington, 280 km (170 miles) south of Perth. It was the country's worst mass shooting since 1996. Police treated it as a murder-suicide, saying resident Peter Miles killed himself and six relatives, including his four grandchildren.
Trump Scraps 💲20m Lawsuit Against Stormy Daniels Over Affair Claim.
President Donald Trump does not believe actress Stormy Daniels‘ hush-money deal, which his former personal lawyer said was done to influence the 2016 presidential election, is valid and will not sue her for breaking the agreement by discussing details of their alleged affair.
In a court filing on Saturday, an attorney for the company set up to handle the deal offered to rescind Ms Daniels’ nondisclosure agreement. The company, Essential Consultants, also scrapped a threatened $20m (£15.4m) lawsuit against Ms Daniels.
The two developments could kill efforts by Ms Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, to force the president to give sworn testimony about what he and his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, might have known about the deal if a judge agrees to dismiss the case. The offers remove any legal risk to Ms Daniels stemming from her public discussion of the alleged affair and the alleged efforts to hide it.
More Than 800 Detained in Protests in Russia, Monitoring Group Says.
Police in Russia detained at least 839 people on Sunday in nationwide protests against a proposed government pension overhaul, a Russian independent monitoring group said. The protests were organized by supporters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who is under administrative arrest for organizing an unsanctioned rally in the capital in January.
The crackdown was heaviest in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, according to independent local media and OVD-Info, a nonprofit organization that monitors detentions. The group said at least 354 people were detained in the city.
Protests organized by Navalny have become a vehicle for expressing discontent with Russian President Vladimir Putin and government corruption. Putin's ratings remain consistently high but have been dented by the pension controversy.

Pandemonium as Abuja-Kaduna Train Crushes 52 Cows.
The trip of a Kaduna-Abuja train carrying about 600 passengers was halted on Sunday near Rijana in Kaduna State after it crushed over 52 cows.
However, no human casualty was recorded as the speeding carriage going to Abuja from Rigasa Railway Station hit the cattle at about 11:45am.
The incident occurred two days after another train plying the route broke down in Jere local government area.
Both Rijana and Jere are notorious for kidnapping and armed robbery.
The train with registration number KA4 stopped for about 40 minutes and the passengers panicked the entire time.
Kaduna State Police Command said the cattle were crushed along Kasarami-Jere axis in Chikkun Local Government Area.
“There is nothing like attack but purely it was train accident, so nobody should panic,” Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdulrahaman, told journalists in Kaduna.
He disclosed that 27 cattle that sustained injuries were slaughtered by the chief butcher of Kasarami village.
“When the information of the accident reached the command, I quickly mobilised our men to the scene to assess the situation,” he said.
He explained the herdsmen were moving the cattle to Funtua Local Government in Katsina State.
“They innocently inquired on whether there were rail services on Sunday, but were misinformed that there was none.
“I have summoned the traditional rulers of the area, youths and farmers on the need to continue to live in peace and to avoid crossing the rail track indiscriminately with farm produce and animals”.
He added that a similar meeting will hold with officials of the railway corporation on how to avert such an accident in future.

Osun Accountant General Didn’t Resign – Aregbesola.
The Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, has described as untrue the reports in the media that the Accountant General of the state, Mr Alaba Kolawole, resigned his position.
The governor, in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr Sola Fasure, said the accountant general attained the age of 60 on August 11 and retired from the service voluntarily on the account of age.
He urged the public to disregard the news of the resignation of the AG, while explaining that the letter written to banks by Kolawole was necessary because he could no longer sign cheques on behalf of the state having retired from the service.
The statement read in part, “For the avoidance of doubt, Mr Kolawole retired voluntarily from service, having attained the statutory age of 60 on August 11, 2018.
“He duly notified the state government, through the Head of Service on May 11, 2018. The Head of Service also notified the governor on June 11, 2018. Governor Aregbesola then approved the retirement on June 16, 2018.
“As statutorily required of him, Mr Kolawole wrote to the banks and financial institutions doing business with the government, to notify them of the invalidity of his signature since he will be stepping out of service and will no longer be competent to act as a signatory to the government’s accounts or transact business on behalf of the government.
“Having served the state meritoriously for 31 years, Mr Kolawole deserves a happy and peaceful retirement, not wild and unfounded allegations that maligned his person and portrayed him as a disloyal and troublesome civil servant.”
“It is regrettable that Mr Kolawole’s retirement has been twisted and complete falsehood built around this due process. We are not in doubt that this falsehood was concocted at the PDP secretariat and this tiny section of the media is the willing tools. Mr Kolawole has since set the records straight and debunked the lies.”

Enugu Coal: Buhari Not a Promise Keeper, Says Ohanaeze.
The apex socio-political body of the Igbo, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has expressed disappointment over the Federal Government’s inability to revive coal production in Enugu.
President Muhammadu Buhari had, while campaigning before the 2015 elections, promised to revamp the moribund coal industry, which had been abandoned for several years.
Buhari had promised that the abundant coal deposits in Enugu would be harnessed to grow the Nigerian economy, and also generate employment opportunities for youths in the South-East and other parts of the country.
The then All Progressives Congress presidential candidate had also assured the people that the coal deposits would be used to revamp the Oji River Power Station, which generated electricity for the defunct Eastern Region.
However, about three years after Buhari won the election and assumed office as the President, the Enugu coal mines have remained moribund.
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mr Chuks Ibegbu, on Sunday said the Federal Government’s failure to revive coal production in Enugu was disappointing.
Speaking with our correspondent in Enugu, the Ohanaeze spokesman said coal deposits in Enugu could transform Nigeria’s economy if the Federal Government decided to develop the sector.
“We are very much disappointed that the Buhari-led Federal Government has not been able to fulfil the promise to revive the coal industry in Enugu.
“It is very unfortunate that the coal mines seem to have been forgotten.
“But we will continue to remind the Federal Government of the urgent need to revamp the coal industry in Enugu, and in so doing, also revive the Oji River Power Station,” Ibegbu said.
Karisma Kapoor and Shweta Bachchan Bury past Differences.
15 years ago, Karisma Kapoor was the woman Abhishek Bachchan was to marry. Their courtship and engagement came to a sudden and bitter end on the eve of their marriage, leaving both the families exceedingly embittered. Even the otherwise affable, diplomatic and benign-spirited patriarch of the Bachchan family was so hurt with the turn of events that he refused to work with Kareena Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black.
But now wounds have healed. And what better proof of this than the fact that Karisma attended Abhishek’s sister Shweta’s inauguration of her own clothes label in Mumbai last week.
The two ladies were seen bonding beautifully, and it wasn’t just for the camera. “There was a sincere affection between them,” says an invitee at the event. “For years no members of the Bachchan family spoke. let alone socialized with Karisma. Shweta has rightly broken the ice. You can’t hold grudges in life forever.”

Top coaches such as Luiz Felipe Scolari, Fabio Capello, Manuel Pellegrini and Andre Villas Boas have also had stints with clubs in the Chinese Super League.
Hiddink’s appointment was announced on the Chinese FA’s official website.
Salman Thinks Social Networks Need to Be Censored; Here's Why.
Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars today with a massive fan following from all over the world.
With his in-film looks becoming a fashion trend, Bhai fans across the world quite literally hang on to every word the actor says. In fact, Salman’s social following too is something that any actor would wish for; filled with ardent fans the actor always makes it a point to keep in touch with them.
Speaking about social media, recently Salman voiced his opinion on why he thinks censorship is needed for such networks. Salman stated that, like films which have a censor board, social media too requires one to weed out the objectionable content. According to the actor, given the fact that social networking sites offer users a curtain of anonymity, certain users abuse this curtain to lash out and make derogatory remarks against others while relieving their frustration. In his view, it is such people who misuse the medium to abuse others that makes it rather unsavory.
However, the actor is pretty happy about the new self-censorship norms that have been put in place on Facebook and Twitter. In fact, Salman states that it is good that these mediums have woken up to the fact that these mediums with public prominence have decided to clean up by blocking certain words and people.

One of those stories details Ronaldo's rivalry with Lionel Messi as well as his dressing room habits during his time in England.
"Rio Ferdinand would tell us stories about how Cristiano Ronaldo would stand in front of the mirror naked, running his hand through his hair, and say, 'Wow. I'm so beautiful!'," Crouch said in his new book, as per the Daily Mail .
"The other United players would try to wind him up. 'Whatever. Leo Messi is a better player than you.'
"And he would shrug his shoulders and smile again. 'Ah yes. But Messi does not look like this...'"
Zidane Wants to Return to Coaching Soon.
Zinedine Zidane has fuelled speculation that he could be being lined up to replace Jose Mourinho at Manchester United by revealing that he plans to return to management “soon”.
The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
He walked away from that post on the back of an historic third successive Champions League triumph, with La Liga title glory also savoured at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Zidane left Madrid claiming that the Blancos needed “something different” to keep them competitive at the highest level.
He has enjoyed a break from the stresses of coaching, but the 46-year-old is now eager to get back into the dugout.
Zidane told TVE: “Certainly I’ll be coaching again soon because it’s what I like doing and what I’ve done all my life.”
It has been suggested that the former France international’s next job could be in England.
He is being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford amid Manchester United’s early struggles in 2018-19.
Debutant Schulz Scores as Germany Edge Peru.
Debutant Nico Schulz scored a scruffy 85th-minute winner as Germany claimed their first victory since their World Cup debacle by beating Peru 2-1 at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
Germany started brightly as Marco Reus was denied inside two minutes by Gallese, who then stood up to keep out Matthias Ginter's free header from a corner, before Peru took a 22nd-minute lead.
Advincula was afforded too much space and neither Schulz, Niklas Sule or Germany goalkeeper Ter Stegen could prevent his near-post effort sneaking in.
Yet the hosts hit back quickly, Brandt cleverly lifting the ball over the advancing keeper after the Bayer Leverkusen winger was picked out by Toni Kroos' pass.
Both teams created chances in the second half - Timo Werner wasting Brandt's good work by firing over before Jefferson Farfan fired wide of the target when picked out by Advincula.
It appeared the game would finish level until Gallese's error, Schulz's weak side-footed shot squirming under him.

Kylian Mbappe illuminated France's World Cup homecoming and Olivier Giroud ended his international goal drought to seal a 2-1 Nations league win over Netherlands
PSG teenager Mbappe was one of the stars of Les Bleus' march to glory in Russia and he dazzled during the opening stages of a first game back at the Stade de France for Didier Deschamps' side.
There was a sense of inevitability to his 14th-minute opener but Ronald Koeman's men were rewarded for their persistence with Ryan Babel's equaliser after the hour mark.
Chelsea striker Giroud failed to score at Russia 2018 but was on hand to volley home substitute Benjamin Mendy's cross for his first France goal in 11 matches.
Following France's opening 0-0 draw with Germany in Munich on Thursday, they are out in front in Group A1 of UEFA's inaugural in-season competition, while Netherlands must try to get off the mark next month.

A trial court in Jharkhand delivered an order to two accused over a WhatsApp call. The bizarre incident has surfaced from Hazaribagh, in a case involving former Jharkhand minister Yogendra Sao and his wife Nirmala Devi, who is accused in a 2016 rioting case.
While the duo was granted bail in the case last year by the top court, it had imposed a condition that they shall stay in Bhopal and not enter Jharkhand except for attending the court proceedings. But according to the two accused, in April this year, the court in Hazaribagh framed charges against them through a 'WhatsApp' call despite they raising objections to it.
After being informed about it by the two accused, the Supreme Court has blasted the lower court's action. "What is happening in Jharkhand. This process cannot be allowed, and we cannot allow the administration of justice to be brought into disrepute. We are here on the way of the trial being conducted through WhatsApp. This can not be done. What kind of a trial is this? Is this a kind of joke?" the bench comprising Justices S A Bobde and L N Rao asked the counsel appearing for Jharkhand.

Man Utd Target Maguire Signs New Leicester Contract.
England defender Harry Maguire has signed a new five-year contract with Leicester City amid interest from Manchester United.
The centre-back starred for his country at the World Cup, scoring in the quarter-final win over Sweden, and was linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford as United sought defensive reinforcements in the close season.
But Maguire remained with Leicester, saying he respected the club's decision not to sell him, and he has now committed his future to the 2015-16 Premier League champions.
"Ever since I came to this club, I've always reiterated how good they've been to me," Maguire told the club's website after extending his contract through to 2023.
"They gave me an opportunity to play in the Premier League and built a great platform for me to go and perform at the World Cup, so I thank them a lot. I owe them a lot and I'm looking forward to the future."
Pogba Plays Down Barcelona Rumours.
Paul Pogba has dismissed suggestions that he will be sporting the Barcelona jersey in the near future as he remains committed to Manchester United.
The World Cup winner was linked with a move to Camp Nou towards the end of the summer transfer window as reports emerged he wanted to escape Jose Mourinho, who has come under pressure in the early stages of the season.
Pogba suggested this week that his future at United remains uncertain, but he has since shrugged off the persistent rumours about a future in La Liga.
"Talking about a transfer, I'm under contract," he told Telefoot. "There have been some little things with the coach, the relationship is always the same - coach and player. We have common goals, which are to win.
"As long as you don't see me in the Barcelona jersey, it's because I'm at Manchester, there will always be rumours."
Although he continues to face criticism in England, Pogba's journey to world glory in the summer has made him a hero in France, and the 25-year-old says it has changed him in many ways.
"It's wonderful, the world champion's life, our life is changing, people's perceptions are changing too, I'm always the same" he added.
Mourinho Needs a 'Lampard or Drogba' at Man Utd Terry.
John Terry has questioned whether former boss Jose Mourinho has the strong leaders he needs to succeed at Manchester United.
Two defeats in four matches have left United drifting in 10th and prompted discussion over whether Mourinho can add to his three Premier League titles.
Terry captained Chelsea to each of those triumphs and is confident the 55-year-old is capable of further glory.
However, the ex-England defender believes Mourinho must first find "personalities" like Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba to set the standard.
"At every club he has had big characters and I'm not sure he has that at Manchester United at the moment. At Chelsea, he did," Terry told the Daily Mail.
"You have to stand up and turn up at training every day and show him that you want to win at all costs. If you've got that, he's 100 per cent on your side.
"I do think he'll bring success to United, but it needs patience.
"My top three for this season will be decided between City, Liverpool and Chelsea. That leaves United and Spurs fighting for fourth."
Kane Slams Referee After Welbeck Goal❌Disallowed.
Harry Kane has criticised referee Danny Makkelie following England’s 2-1 Nations League loss to Spain at Wembley on Saturday, saying that the Dutch official lacked the “bottle” to allow a late equaliser to stand.
The Three Lions took the lead through Marcus Rashford but strikes from Saul and Rodrigo turned the tables by the break. Danny Welbeck thought he had snatched a share of the points at the death, but the effort was controversially ruled out for offside.
It was a call that left captain Kane furious, with the Tottenham ace hitting out at the official.
Asked by Sky Sports if Welbeck’s tap in should have stood, he replied: “100 per cent, in the big moments you need the referee to stay strong but unfortunately he has bottled it. In the big moments you need a firm referee who doesn't get decisions wrong under pressure.
"Danny Welbeck stood there, David de Gea went up, he caught the ball but as he went down he fell on Danny, no foul or anything, and the ball dropped.”
