Sultan Turns out to Be a Huge DISAPPOINTMENT at the Chinese Box Office
After turning out to be a huge blockbuster at the domestic market, the expectations were sky-high from Salman and Anushka, when it released in China.
But unfortunately, the sports drama has turned out to be a huge disappointment at the Chinese box office. In its opening week, the film has just managed earn around ₹32 crore, which is way lesser to all the Bollywood films, which released in China. Apparently, Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible: Fallout has dominated Sultan in this circuit.
With 4000 screens, trade analysts expected Sultan to repeat its box office success in China but it seems the content of the film failed to strike with the audience. Interesting Salman's last venture Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China had collected over ₹290 crore at the box office.
With the help of Chinese collections, Sultan has crossed the benchmark of ₹600 crore at the global box office.
